You cannot change the site - but this is a free world and you are not chained
to that site, right?
With that kind of site you really are very limited and Willie's advise to create
a mirror site, somehow related to the first one and tied up to your hobby makes
a lot of sense.
You simply MUST be able to mold the site site to your own needs - especially to
the needs of your visitors (which YOU should choose!). It is your communication
tool - your mouth and your ears. Imagine going to the networking party and not
being able to say what you want and even hear what you want (and without access
to stats, CGI and autoresponders you cannot listen effectively to what your
visitors tell you!)
Advice?
Get your own site!
With your own domain! - dishing out $35 per year for domain and $10-$20 per month
for ISP should not create a hole in your budget. And if it does, perhaps it is
not your time to start a business yet but get a job and save money so that you can
start a business in a near future and do things right.
And I mean it very seriously - nothing drives people away from business as much as
unnecessary failure.
It was never easier and cheaper than today to start a business - but you cannot do
it on zero budget!
