Do a lot of research. Reseller or associate programs are the easiest to get into. However,not all of them make money for the reseller.
A good rule of thumb in selecting a product or service is to see whether or not the person offering it to you actally uses it. If it's so great, why aren't they using it. At the same time, once you decide on a product or service, try the product yourself. You should know the quality of the product before you try to sell it to someone else. This makes it easier to describe how great the product is with conviction. Prospects can tell when you use and love a product.
