That is a hard question for anyone to answer. We don't know what your dreams are. We don't know your passions. There is something unique about all of us. We have had different experiences, been to different places, seen things that many others have not, and even have different hobbies.
What you would want to start your business on should be something that you are interested in. Something that you can write about with passion. Let's look at an example.
Bottle Collecting.
I don't know much about it, but if I did, I might be able to provide all kinds of information to those that are interested. I could give a run down on "hand blowing glass", impurities in the glass, mixing methods, heat requirements, techniques and a history of the trade. I would include info about how many bottles were put together in pieces, and show readers how to judge the age of the bottle from it's seam and base.
I would have a datbase of pictures displaying typical bottles from a 100-150 years ago, and how much they are worth today.
If this were your passion, you could create a weekly or monthly e-zine for others with the same interest. In it you would share tips and tricks for finding bottles, list buyers and sellers, or list yourself as a buyer and seller. You could sell rare bottles, and provide information where collectors cold look up old and present day manufactures.
Your entire web site would be built around bottles. A complete resource! Set up a message board for bottle collectors. Establish your self as an expert in this field!
There are zillions of ideas for starting your own business. Do something you are interested in, please. Don't worry about the money, it will come.
