I've got a big problem with bouncing emails myself, with my All the Secrets newsletter.
Today I had around 130 new subscribers.
I sent them a personal welcome message and a
copy of last weeks issue, and 13 bounced.
I haven't looked to see why yet, but no doubt
most of them typed the wrong email into my web
form.
I've also got a problem sending my newsletter to
Hotmail addresses though.
What Wanda says is right. You MUST go through
your bounced emails and work out why, or remove
them from your list. You'll just get sick of
dealing with them otherwise,

ps. 130 a day is more than usual. I must be doing
something right this week.
: : The problem is I don't want to keep those dead addreses on the list, but
: : but I don't want to keep receiving a lot of bounced mail back.
:
: Max, it is important to clear your list, because you might be getting more
: and more od bounced mail and once things get out of hand it will drive you
: nuts.
: Some letters come back because the address or server is non-existent
: and this will say "the address has permanent error" or "fatal error"
: and you can delete those (those are people who changed servers or perhaps
: didn't give you right address to begin with) - other will indicate that
: "the mailbox is full" or "transient error" or "I will keep trying to
: deliver" - wait with those for a few more issues.
: Generally remember the most important - read those messages from the
: postmaster!
