Whoa! Joe.
That IS a lotta questions!

But let's try.

: 1)The speed at which the website placement happened amazed
: me. I sent an email inquiry on Thursday, and Saturday, the
: information was on her site. How can I let as many other
: people who have websites with Christmas items for sale,
: or who would like to have Christmas Items for sale,
: know that I have an affiliate program in place where
: they can sell this unique, 2,000 year old antiquity
: through their website?

As always - look and see what made it work the first time.
And duplicate the effort smartly.
Search engines should be handy here for finding Christmas
items for sale.

A lot of work, but can be done.

: It's November 2nd - Wanda, how could I have 60, 80,
: 100 or more sites marketing the Widow's Mite by
: the first week in December?

well - divide 100 by 30 days - and means you need to find
3 sites per day. Is that ALL you need?
If you spend all your time per day doing that, you
will find it.

(a hint - look for PEOPLE, not for sites)

: (probably) for this Christmas, but Easter is coming
: after that, and catalog companies do mailings
: year round. Wanda, do you know anybody who does
: catalog placements, or how to go about doing so?

No catalog knowledge - enough to say that even for
Easter you might be a tad late.
Ask Blakes and Myers gang - they will know

: 3)I sent out a press release in August, not the best month
: for direct response, and of the 300 I sent out, one got
: an article published in Mobile, Alabama (I kid you not)
: three inquiries turned into one sale. It was a thrill, but
: how can I do this better?

By learning how to write really good press release.
Read my next newsletter carefully :-)
Scout the web, too.
There are many great advice.

Writing a good release is paramount for your
success with media.

: station responded, I got an on air interview of sorts,
: and the gentleman involved did it to introduce his
: listeners to the Widow's Mite.

yeah - that's the beauty - all of the sudden one person
responds and the ball starts rolling. Nice - eh?

: Wanda, who do you know who does per order
: advertising? And besides radio advertising, do you
: have a source of per order advertising for print ads?

I don't keep track of this - because I generally teach
people how to do other things but advertising.

Look for small stations - the big ones very rarely do it.
The most flexible are those that have some unsold time
on the air (not all of them do).

Make sure that you are able to explain what's in it for
them and be prepared that you know much more about their
business than they do (sadly, there is a reason why so
many of them go belly up)

: 5)Fund raisers. Do you know of a source or list of
: fundraising organizations in need of items to
: offer with which to raise funds?

Have no source - but good thinking.
I am sure you will be able to find some discussion list
on that subject. Check my links page - I have a few readers
who are in fund raising, perhaps their sites are listed
on that page, with a contact name ready..

: 6) Retail store chains. Can I directly approach
: retail chain stores for item placement?

Sure - if you have enough supply, do it.
Many small businesses got very successful through
selling to WalMart and the likes...

: season. Is this possible? How do I make the approach,
: and gain the coveted register placement?

Everything is possible!

Approach?
That's too much for me to say without data, analysis,
without knowing you and them - hey I am not a miracle worker :-))

Good luck!
