Sorry for jumping in here late Wanda, but I just couldn't resist adding to this thread.
I do almost %100 of my business online and I haven't used a signed contract once. Which is a little unusual for me, because in my previous life I was a Real Estate Broker, and *everything* had to be in writing, witnessed, signed (not quite in blood but almost)
The key is in concentrating on your relationships rather than 'making the deal'. I think that is why so many people have to rely on contracts is because what their concern is for is the transaction... not the person.
Just had to add that.. one of my passions.
